#FRI-YAY #2 Review|Kroger Buffalo Style Popcorn Chicken

Happy FRIYAY¬†everybody! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I’m here to make sure that happens. As a reminder, every FRIYAY (FRIDAY for the new people) we discuss the not so great products you should stay away from if you want to keep your FRIYAY joy. Today I’m here to talk about Kroger’s Buffalo Style Popcorn Chicken.

My family doesn’t buy a lot of prepackaged food, and recently we’ve come to the decision to buy even less. But I have to say, on those days when you’re tired and you just don’t feel like it, food like this comes in handy. And this is the reason why we buy things like this, but this particular flavor was bought by mistake. Our favorite flavor is the Honey BBQ. We didn’t realize we had bought the wrong flavor until we got home from the store. But we said what the hay, let’s try it anyway.

I tried to look up reviews for this chicken, I found a few. I love when people go out of their way to make food or a bad product sound great. One reviewer said they thought this chicken was fantastic and then in the next sentence mentioned that the size and seasoning differ each bag. My favorite part was when I read that if I add more buffalo sauce to the chicken I would love it even more. So not only do you get inconsistency each bag, but buffalo sauce is not included?

I’m here to tell you that I will always be honest about whatever endeavor I am doing and about my thoughts on a product. When we ate this chicken for dinner, I kept questioning myself on whether or not my sinuses were messed up or if I was sick. I couldn’t taste anything and I like spicy food, I eat it quite frequently. This Kroger Buffalo Style Popcorn Chicken had the sensation of heat but no flavor of buffalo sauce. Let’s just be real about it. Sometimes we buy food for convenience or because it’s cheap, I’m here to tell you, it does not always work in our favor.
