Believe it or not, this isn’t my first time writing this post. I had everything done, then I went and made a mistake. I’d started writing this post on my phone, then I switched over to my laptop. Later on, I got back on my phone the app did a progress update.
The only thing I had written down on my phone was the title and a few tags, but that’s what got saved. Whoops! So what have I learned from this? I shouldn’t write when I’m tired, stick to one device, always save a copy.
Anywho, I spent the majority of today- well yesterday getting advice on my blog and the direction I want to take it in. (Thank you to everyone who commented and participated in the poll and I made.) I knew I wanted a sense of anonymity as soon as the idea of creating a blog came to fruition.
I wanted to be able to keep my blogging life separate from my personal life. But in a way, this simply isn’t possible. I don’t want to restrict myself to what content I create.
I want you all to be able to get to know me and vice versa. Can someone be part way anonymous? Maybe a better word for it is private? I’ll be sharing more about myself, and to start that we have the #TackleThatFro series.
I’ve been natural for over two years now, and man let me tell you, it’s been a journey. The “why did I agree to this trip, how long are we going to be on this car journey.” But I’ll start at the very beginning so you’ll be along for the ride. In the #TackleThatFro series I’ll be discussing the following:
- I Give up Creamy Crack!
- Natural Influences
- How Not to Big Chop
- After BC, What Next?
- Products: Fails & Wins
- Hair Expectations
- Protective Styling
- Hair Tools
Can we talk about this photo though? 😍 It’s simply amazing. I had the hardest time finding images for this series, finally, I just went to Pinterest and found these wonderful pictures. The artist’s name is Pierre Jean-Louis, please go follow him, the link to his Instagram is below.
