mE Project| Interview with KaylaLoves

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great week and everything is going well. Today, I’ll be sharing my second interview for the mE Project. I got to interview the lovely Kayla, she’s such a sweet person and what she can do with makeup is just pure talent.

The mE Project is about motivating, encouraging, and energizing others. It also gives me a chance to use my platform to support ones who have helped me along the way. As always, I hope you enjoy and if you have an idea for a future post or if you would be interested in doing an interview with me, just let me know. You can catch up on previous interviews and mE Project posts here.

Interview with Kayla

Why did you create your blog?

When I found out I was pregnant I wanted to start a blog to document my pregnancy and my son’s growth, but the mum blogging community can be quite aggressive if you don’t raise your child exactly as they do but I didn’t let them stop me. I decided to focus less on my son and more on other things in my life!

What does mE ( motivate, encourage, & energize) mean to you?

I’ve really tried to make a change in my life this year to make sure that I do more with my day. mE just seems like the perfect project to keep me on that positive track.

What social media do you use most often, why?

I would say I probably use Twitter and Instagram fairly evenly. I absolutely love Instagram and have used it for over 6 years now. I’ve always loved taking photos and Instagram is such a fun way of sharing photos with other people. I think at the moment I love Twitter more than anything because it’s such a great way of chatting with people all over the world. I’ve found so many new blogs to read through Twitter. I just love it!

What/Who inspires you the most?

The bloggers that inspire me the most are Kate La Vie (katelavie.com) and Poppy Deyes (poppydeyes.com). Both of their blogs are just so beautiful. They put so much effort into each post they make and I just absolutely love them!

What goals do you have for your blog? Short-term and long-term

I haven’t really ever thought about this, to be honest. I guess I would love for this to become a full-time job. I really love blogging so to have it be a job would be incredible. I have a lot planned for my blog next year and I would really love to start posting twice a week. When I first started blogging, I posted twice a week and it was hard to keep up with and put me off it, so I am hoping I can find the time to post more and still keep my life in order!
