mE Project| Interview with My Blurred World
Here we are at another Thursday, and I have another wonderful blogger to introduce to you. Today’s interview features Elin of My Blurred World. She is a great source of inspiration. Despite losing her sight at a young age, she continues to move forward and face life with positivity. Please check out her blog, you won’t be disappointed.
As always, the (mE) of mE Project stands for (motivate, encourage, and energize.) I created the project to promote these things and also use my platform to support the lovely bloggers that I think represent these qualities. You can read the other interviews and mE Project posts here.
What piece of encouragement would you offer other bloggers?
I think it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by blogging and a few of the things that come with it, it’s easy to put pressure on yourself to do well and constantly have new and amazing blog post ideas. One piece of encouragement I’d give is to always believe in yourself and your writing, write about what you’re passionate about. Have patience and just keep writing about what you love.
What does mE (motivate, encourage, & energize) mean to you?
mE has a lot of meaning to me, I always try my best to motivate and encourage myself and others. I hope that I can do so by writing my blog. I write it in the hope that people can take something away from my posts and feel motivated or encouraged by them in some way.
What social media do you use most often?
I’d say that I use Twitter the most above any other social media. I used to be a huge instagram enthusiast but my love for it faded over time however I have started posting regularly again recently. I love Twitter because it gives me the opportunity to chat to people all around the world and it allows me to discover new blogs to read which I always love.
Name a blog/blogger that you admire.
This is a hard one because there are so many bloggers out there who I admire and look up to. I have two main ones, the first one being Victoria (IntheFrow) as I always find her posts to be inspiring and it’s obvious that she works really hard on her posts and I really admire all the hard work she puts into her blog. Another blogger I admire is Holly (Life of a blind girl), she’s become a really close friend of mine and I always find her posts on disability to be really inspirational.
What do you like most about blogging and what do you dislike?
I could write a really long list of all the things I love about blogging but one of the things I like the most is being able to share my story and experiences with people from all around the world. I love writing so blogging definitely gives me the opportunity to express my passion for it. Meeting new people and making new friends is also something that I love about writing my blog. There aren’t many things that I dislike about blogging but one thing I would say is that not getting much feedback on a post after putting a lot of time and effort into it can be really disheartening sometimes. But overall I love blogging and everything that comes with it.
