mE Project| Interview with Simply Shaiz

Excuse me for being a day late, but if you want to, we can pretend it’s Thursday lol. Today’s interview features Keziah of the blog Simply Shaiz. I am always learning something new from her blog, especially about skin care and natural products. I’ve learned a few tips about my skin and hair from reading her blog posts.

As always, the (mE) of mE Project stands for (motivate, encourage, and energize.) I created the project to promote these things and also use my platform to support the lovely bloggers that I think represent these qualities. You can read the other interviews and mE Project posts here.

How do you want to be remembered?

I want to be remembered for changing lives. It is my dream to one day become an empowerment coach and help women from all over the world who struggle with things that most women find challenging including issues with body image, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues. I just want to inspire women to preserve a sense of well being in order to enjoy a healthier and happier life.

What does mE (motivate, encourage, energize) mean to you?

mE means hope to me. Hope for a better world if everyone makes the effort daily to motivate encourage and energize just one other human being because that would make such a difference in this world.

Why did you create your blog?

I created my blog because for years I struggled with figuring out what I was truly passionate about. I remember when I was in my teens   I kept a diary and I used to enjoy putting my thoughts on paper whether they were good or bad, and I always felt better when I was finished but one day I’m not sure when; I stopped doing that. I stopped writing entirely. When I met my husband he would always remind me that I should have a personal outlet. Something that was mine and mine alone. Something that I genuinely enjoyed doing and for me that’s blogging. I could put my thoughts out there for the world to see and what’s better is that other people could find joy or inspiration just by reading a single post.

What do you wish you did more of?

I wish I spent more time doing the things I love (blogging included) It feels like most of my time is spent just carrying on with the routines of life.

Who are you most inspired by? Why?

That’s a very difficult question because it’s not just one person. It’s my mom and my husband. My mom because she had me at 20 and was a single parent. She made so many sacrifices and continues to do so and she has never once asked for anything in return.I owe a lot of who I am now to her because of the way she raised me. My husband for his strength. That inspires me in ways that I cannot even put into words. He has had a very difficult year but despite that, he still takes the time to make sure that I feel loved and appreciated.

PAE Note: I know I haven’t been that active this week. There’s been a lot of dr. appointments and tests. I really appreciate all of the kind comments and your patience. I have a few things in the works to say thank you. But right now, I can tell you about one.

There is an official RT account for The mE Project, I created it today.  This is just a small way that I can give back the support given to me. The link to the account will be below.

    1. I absolutely love these interviews. But you know I think everyone struggles with finding what they are passionate about. I think it may be part of life’s discovery.
