Hi everyone, I hope you have not only a great day but a great week as well. Over the weekend, I started thinking about what I want to accomplish before the year is over and what good habits I want to start. And I’m not talking about New Year’s Resolutions. To be honest, I’ve never really understood the hype. Only the determined and dedicated stick them, most give up after a couple weeks. My goal is to incorporate some of these things into my lifestyle and the others are things that I want to do for my blog.
I honestly discovered Hostrica.com by accident. I’m sure just like every blogger, we all share the dream of having our own website. My problem was that when I compared pricing previously, it was way above what I could afford. The Bronze Package is just $3 per year. But they are currently offering a deal that if you sign up for the Gold Package which is $12 per year, your domain is free. You just have to use the promo code: HOSTRICAFTW. I’m not an affiliate of this website and I’m not getting anything out of this. I just know that there are probably others like me, who would love to have their own site.
Some may not believe this, but I finally got a planner. And I am so excited because I won’t have to keep dashing between my phone and the notebook I’ve been using. I’m honestly surprised that I’ve done well so far, it’s a bit of a mess I’m afraid. I picked a planner that’s nondated. I liked this option because I have more control over what goes into it. This way too, I can start using it now instead of waiting for the first of the year. I also bought so pens to use along with it.
Previously, I was using post-it notes to keep track of what needed to be done. Let’s just say, that got out of hand very fast. I’m a visual learner so being able to write in different colors will help me keep track of everything. By the time this post goes live, I will either have my planner or it will be out for delivery.
Health & Exercise
I have to say it seems like I’ll be ending the year with more questions than answers when it comes to some aspects of my health. And I’m okay with that. It’s taken me a long time, but I’ve finally come to understanding about that. There are some things in my life that I won’t be able to change so I’m going to start focusing on the parts that I can. As previously discussed in, mE Project| Mobility, Health & Me, I’ve found certain exercises that I can do without breaking my 20-minute limit.
While I was on Amazon the other day, I also found this fitness tracker, I was so surprised it was so cheap. But from what I understand Jawbone has discontinued this product and that’s why the price is so low. Let me know if you want to do a review on it. My hope is that it will help me stay organized. Losing weight isn’t really my priority. I want to try and eat healthier, exercise to the best of my ability, and drink more water.
I’ve expressed my gratitude often, but I still don’t think it’s enough. The outpouring of support has been so awe-inspiring and I just wish that I could do more to show you all just how appreciative I am. I’ve received a few return emails from the Blogger Interview series and I will get those wrote and published soon. Remember, if you would like to be a part of Thursday’s Blogger Interview series you can just leave me a comment with your email below or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, I would love to have guest posts for this series. It can be anything along the topics of motivating, encouraging, and energizing others. If you would like to do a guest post, just let me know.
I’ve written about it previously that I’m from the tri-state area of West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. I was born and raised in West Virginia but we live in Ohio now. I realized the other day that there are so many talented artists and creators in this region but their not well known. This is kind of a tentative goal at the moment, but I would love to work with some people from my neck of the woods and help highlight their talent.
