#SPOTLIGHT Review & Rant| Skin Effects by Dr. Jeffery Dover Self-foaming Cleansing Pads with Retinol Complex
I only had to use one pad to clean my face and I felt like my face was clean. I didn’t feel like I needed to wash it more. Now I have quite a bit going on with my skin on my face. I have oily-combination skin, hyperpigmentation, and scarring from picking at pimples. I’ve been using this product for months and I can truly see a difference in my skin. It feels smoother and my scarring is less noticeable. I’m going to be a little bit sad when I finally use the last one. So if you know of a product like this let me know or Dr. Jeffery Dover if you could make more, that would be great thanks.
My mother was a child in the 60’s, in her teenage years by the 70’s. And at that time there was such societal pressure for black women to fit in with the rest (the same can be said for today). I can say from experience that natural hair definitely makes you stand out. But during that time, they were told, “Your hair would look so much prettier if it was straight.”, “You look unkempt with your hair like that.” Words like these influenced some of them to blend in and that influence trickled down to later generations.
