Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a great week so far and if you’re not… I promise it will get better. Today I’m here to do another round of the Versatile Blogger Award. This time I was tagged by Flopi of Keepingupwithflopi and I have to apologize because you tagged me in October, I am so sorry. I was also tagged by Emily of LivingHealthy&Beautiful. They are both so wonderful so please check out their blogs.
14 Unknown Facts About Me
Since I have done this before I thought I would keep it interesting by listing facts that I’m pretty sure not that many people know about me. I’m sure you’ll find that I’m a lot weirder than you thought, lol. Let me know in the comments if you do some of these things too.
I love chocolate milk but I can’t stand store-bought. I have to make it myself. To me personally, store-bought chocolate milk is way too thick and it tastes more like syrup. I like to use Hershey’s chocolate syrup to make mine but I don’t use much. I like the faint taste of chocolate in my milk.
A couple years ago, I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia. And ever since then, I’ve been really sensitive to sounds. When I watch tv, I always keep the volume low and I always have closed captions on. It drives my mom crazy if we’re watching tv together but I’ve been doing it for so long that I’ve gotten used to it.
I’ve gotten out of the habit of eating breakfast in the morning. And I think it may be because I’m not a morning person and it takes me awhile to wake up. If anything, I’ll get a cup of coffee or make a smoothie but I usually don’t eat anything until around 11:00 am.
I haven’t flat ironed my hair in over 2 years. Since I went natural, I have developed this weird fear of getting heat damage. I have heard and watched horror stories about it happening to other people.
I have a very strong dislike for tomato and chicken noodle soup. When I was little, I always seemed to keep a sinus infection, or strep throat, an ear infection. I was always sick with something. And my mom kept the pantry stocked with the stuff. When I see cans of either at the grocery store I get so irritated lol.
Rugrats was my jam when I was little. But I have a problem with taking things literally sometimes. Because of this show, I ate my fair share of bugs.
Although I act like a grumpy old grandma I will try new foods. I’ve discovered a lot of my favorite food from branching out of the norm.
I’m really bad about keeping up with mainstream television shows. I am used to watching things on Netflix so much that commercials make me antsy. So if I hear of a show I may be interested in, I’ll look to see if it’s on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I like starting them at the very beginning so I know what’s going on. If it’s not, I won’t bothering watching it.
I have a bad habit of getting out of bed in the morning and not putting my glasses back on. It’s usually after I walk around for a bit that I realize the world is out of focus and I can’t see. So all around my room, I have glasses stashed so I can put on a pair at any time.
I like ice cream, but I would choose sherbert over ice cream any day.
Superheros & Comics
Both have always been a big part of my family. My parents are sci-fi fans. I just started re-watching the Flash on Netflix.
I used to have this continuing nightmare after I graduated high school. In the dream, it was the final week of school and I was turning in my final assignments. I would come up short and someone would tell me I couldn’t graduate. I had this nightmare for years.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a hard time seeing clear items. If I drop a clear item on the floor, it takes me forever to find it again.
Pajamas & Sweatpants
With my ankle injury and being sick, I honestly don’t get out much unless I’m going to physical therapy or to a doctor’s appointment. So for the last few months, my wardrobe has been pajamas and sweatpants.
Did you know any of these things or do you do them too? Let me know and I’ll see you in the next post 🙂
